Tara, CEO and Editor in Chief

tara started her career in journalism, and then moved into travel. her first week on the job as a travel journalist, she was sent to the islands of new caledonia. for seven days. and she knew then that travel and nature inspired her creatively more than anything else. she had found her calling.

she spent many years travelling on and hosting extraordinary media trips. As the former editor of Travel Weekly and former Head of PR for Intrepid Travel, she would travel on average once a month, from Iran to Mongolia. Tara wanted to make those awestruck moments that give you goosebumps accessible to all; and help communities along the way.

she is equally as passionate about purpose advocacy, launching the first women in travel awards in australia and speaking out about overtourism, sacred land and female equality through tourism.

tara is addicted to awe and chases it down every day, catching sunrise and sunset from her home in bondi beach, sydney.
