Hi Friends,
Mexico City is a city of so much life! Filled with art, culture, and some of the best food I have ever tasted.I am so excited to welcome you to an artist and art enthusiasts retreat where we will experience Mexico City, the vibrant Oaxaca, and beachside Puerto Escondido.
My first trip with Aweventurer was such a beautiful experience and I met so many amazing people, I am honored to be able to host another trip! I am constantly on a quest to let the beauty of the world enrich, rejuvenate and inspire me and my creative practice. Every place I have travelled has changed me in ways I could never have anticipated and I would like you to join me as we take on Zona Maco, Mexico City’s art week. It will be a time to reflect on our art practice, how we let our experiences shape our creative thinking, and what sorts of creative trends can take note of on an international level. With multiple workshops this trip will benefit artists and art lovers of any skill level.
But that is not all, we take in much more Mexican history and culture as we travel to Teotihuacán for a guided tour of the pyramids, make a quick stop to Casa Frida, and see the home that housed the artists practice. The country is so rich culturally and we will visit so many picturesque places and help you create memories of a lifetime. Then we will head to Oaxaca where we will have a chance to discover their rich cultural art scene, meet with local artisans, experience a special performance and many more surprises.
Finally we will have a relaxing end of the trip in Puerto Escondido, a beautiful and vibrant beach town.
This trip is open to travel enthusiasts, artists, photographers, and just anyone looking to get away and spend some time soaking up a beautiful new adventure. I cannot wait to welcome you and experience this wonderful adventure with you!
All my best,
Reyna

her writings are muses from her own journey condensed into a poetic form that people can digest and insert their own experiences, similar to her faceless drawings. she aims not to be a voice for the voiceless, but to lead them to feel empowered using their own voice.
