FAQ’s

How to get there

Our meeting point is Amman, Jordan (Queen Alia international airport), where you’ll be greeted by one of our trip hosts and escorted in a private vehicle to your hotel. From Sydney, several airline carriers run flights to Amman, with one or two stopovers in Abu Dhabi or other international airports. From LA, multiple airlines run direct flights from LAX to Amman. From London, several airline carriers run direct flights from London Heathrow to Amman.

What is the accommodation like?

We’ll be staying in a range of accommodation types to give you the full Jordan experience. See the section ‘Location’ for more detailed information on our accommodation.

What should I bring?

We’ll be doing a fair amount of walking each day, so comfortable walking shoes or sandals are a must. Some of the sites we’ll be visiting, like Petra, have very little shade, so a wide-brimmed hat and plenty of sunscreen are also recommended. Temperatures are moderate this time of year, so light layers are the way to go. A warm jacket for nighttime is all you’ll need once the cool comes in after dark.

Will I have downtime?

While our days are pretty packed to ensure you get the most out of your time in Jordan, there will be times where you will be able to explore the local sites yourself or stay in and have some downtime.
