DINNER together beneath the stars

day five

BREAKFAST enjoyed outdoors with coffee, fresh fruit, and warm pastries from the local bakery

VINEYARD EXCURSION through the Tuscan countryside, with an afternoon of wine tasting, and local flavours while we explore one of astrology's most powerful ideas, your North Node

RATHER THAN asking what you should do with your life, we'll ask a different question. Who are you becoming?

TOGETHER we will discover the qualities your soul is being invited to grow into, the gifts waiting to be developed and the future that is quietly asking for your courage

FAREWELL DINNER as a celebration of everything we've discovered throughout the week, the friendships we've formed and the women we're becoming

day six

BREAKFAST together one final time, with soft morning light, strong coffee, and slow goodbyes

REFLECT and write a letter to your future self. Make a commitment to the life you’ve begun to imagine here in Umbria

RETURN home with a personalized understanding of your birth chart, clarity about the season of life you’re in, insight into your North Node journey, practical tools for continued growth, renewed creative energy and friendships that began around an Italian table but are designed to last long after the retreat

invitation from kate

If you've ever wanted to spend a week in Italy eating beautiful food, drinking good wine, talking about life and understanding yourself a little better, this retreat is for you.

Over six days in the Umbrian countryside, we'll combine astrology, self reflection and honest conversations in a magical italian setting. Think long lunches, medieval villages, vineyards, slow mornings, beautiful surroundings and plenty of time to simply breathe.

Together we'll explore your birth chart, the season of life you're in, the beliefs that may be holding you back and where your North Node is inviting you next. You'll leave with practical insights, a clearer sense of direction and a deeper understanding of yourself.

There'll be workshops, journaling, and lots of laughter, plus afternoons by the pool, wandering the streets of Perugia, reading under an olive tree or doing absolutely nothing at all.

You don't need to know anything about astrology. You just need to be curious about yourself and where you are heading.

If you're ready to press pause, reconnect with who you are and spend a week with a wonderful group of women in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, I'd love you to join me.

meet your host

Kate Forster is an author, astrologer and host of The Blunt & The Beautiful podcast.

After publishing more than twenty novels with major international publishers, Kate spent years helping readers understand relationships, identity and the stories we tell ourselves. Today, she combines that same curiosity with astrology, self reflection and personal development, helping women navigate life's transitions with greater clarity and confidence.

Her approach to astrology is practical rather than predictive. Instead of telling you what will happen, Kate helps you understand where you are, why certain patterns keep repeating and what your chart is asking you to grow towards.

With a social media community of 500k+ followers, Kate is known for making astrology accessible, grounded and often very funny. Her readings blend insight with real life, leaving people feeling understood, hopeful and equipped with practical next steps.

This retreat brings together everything Kate loves most: beautiful places, meaningful conversations, good food and wine, inspiring women and the chance to step away from everyday life long enough to hear yourself think again.

She can't wait to welcome you to Tuscany.

accommodation

Our home is a private borgo in the the clay-hill country south-east of Siena, in a quiet and genuinely secluded spot at the end of a dirt road. Three connected stone buildings hold eleven bedrooms and twenty-two beds, six bathrooms, a kitchen big enough for all of us, a yoga room, a fitness room, a workshop room, a wine cellar and a swimming pool with loungers looking straight out over the vineyards. Outside there are five thousand square metres of garden, terrace and olive terraces to get lost in.

Rooms vary, some have their own bathroom, some share with one other room, some with two. There is fast wifi and a proper desk if you need to stay reachable.

FAQs

How can I join?

Please secure your place by paying a deposit. Confirmation will take place via email. There is a limited number of places available on this retreat, so act fast.

How do I get there?

Florence Airport (FLR) is closest and easiest. Transfers depart Florence airport at 2pm on Day 1; the return leaves the borgo at 10am on Day 6 and gets you to Florence by early afternoon. If you're arriving a day early or staying on, tell us and we'll help you plan it.

What is the style of trip?

Unhurried. There are early mornings for people who want them and late ones for people who don't. We go out most days but never all day, and there is always the option to stay behind by the pool.

What is the accommodation like?

Eleven bedrooms across three connected stone buildings, with six bathrooms. Some rooms are en suite, some share. It is comfortable and characterful rather than five-star: think old stone, thick walls, uneven floors, extraordinary views. Linen and towels are provided.

What is the food situation?

All of it is included. Breakfast every morning and dinner with wine every evening, cooked for us and served at the long table. Tell us about allergies and dietary needs when you book and they will be handled properly.

How fit do I need to be?

Not very. There are optional walks and an optional stretch of the Eroica gravel roads on bicycles, and the hill towns involve stairs and cobbles, so bring shoes you can walk in.

What is the rooming configuration?

The trip has options for private and shared rooms.

How can I pay?

Click pay now and follow the booking process. You can spread the payment over instalments or pay in full.

Are payment plans adjustable?

Yes. All payment plans are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs, provided the full balance is paid at least two months before the trip start date. Just email us at operations@aweventurer.com and tell us your preference for dates, if the automatic dates don’t work for you.

What should I pack?

  • Day pack for carrying essentials.

  • Comfortable walking shoes or sandals

  • Sun protection - a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen.

  • Insect repellent and hand sanitiser.

  • Light layers for the daytime

  • Warmer layers for night time.

  • Swimmers.

  • Electrical adaptor.

  • Water bottle.

Will I need a visa?

Obtaining a visa is the individual responsibility of the traveller. Please note that entry requirements can change at any time. Italy is in the European Schengen area. Most travellers can travel to countries in the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. Be sure to check with your government’s foreign travel advisories and consular websites to ensure you have the correct information.

past retreats - the literary retreat with lynn d. jung in france

“The Tuscany retreat with Aweventurer completely exceeded my expectations. I'd never been on a creative/writing retreat before and wasn't sure if it was a going to be an expense I could justify. Within 24 hours of the group's coming together at an astonishing one-thousand-year-old restored Italian manor set in the heart of the lovely Tuscan countryside, with yoga each morning, delicious big vegetarian meals twice a day, stretches of writing and interesting conversations, and charming villages nearby, I was ready to sign up for the next one. Tara's quiet and meticulous attention was evident throughout. Two weeks later, I'm still in a glow!” - Kristen
